Year 6

Our Y6 pupils have learnt many functionality and editing skills using Google Slides software. We intend to use these skills, and our knowledge of Ernest Shackleton, to create a slide show presentation over the coming weeks. Watch this space!

Year 6 took part in Parliament Week and discussed what democracy means. They looked at what actually makes up parliament.
This week in science, Y6 children have been using their prior learning about parts of the eye to identify them when carrying out an eye dissection.
Year 6 had a brilliant day carrying out geography fieldwork in Whitby. We carried out environmental surveys and people counts as well as using compasses and drawing field sketches. It was a busy day!
