Investigating Gravity

During Science last week, Class 13 were investigating gravity. The children further developed their knowledge and understanding of gravity by identifying the difference between mass and weight and investigating how these are affected by gravity.

Geography Topic – Natural Disasters

As part of our Geography learning about natural disasters, Year 6 compared the earthquakes of San Francisco (1989) and Haiti (2010). After completing their research, they presented their findings in Venn diagrams. 

Clifton Park Museum Toy Workshop

This week, Year 2 had a visit from Clifton Park Museum and took part in a toy workshop. 🧸🪀 We looked at and played with toys from the past. We saw tumbling toys, spinning tops and teddy bears.

Class 3 Topic Update

Last half term our topic was ‘Can You Read Me a Story? For this we have been reading lots of traditional tales including: Little Red Riding Hood, The Elves and the Shoemaker, Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel and The Princess and the Pea.  We have been very busy and have enjoyed lots of activities exploring these stories!

Y2 Learn About Australia🌏

In geography, Year 2 are learning all about Australia. On the 26th of January, we celebrated Australia Day by doing lots of fun activities. We had a boomerang throwing competition, made fairy bread and did some fantastic aboriginal artwork!
