Studying The Blitz in Y6

Last week, as part of their learning about World War Two, Year 6 were finding out about how Sheffield was affected by the Blitz. Everyone really got stuck into their work, and did a fantastic job. Well done Y6! #WeWorkHard
Maths Games in FS1!

This week, FS1 have been using a fantastic website called Topmarks. This is a free website you can use for educational games. The children have enjoyed playing many Maths games this week! Everyone had so much fun, and politely took turns on the interactive white board. Well done FS1, you’re absolute superstars!
Nursery Rhymes at Woodland View!

This week, our wonderful children at Woodland View have learnt all about ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’. They have explored a range of textures and shapes, and have used puppets, musical instruments and used a range of communication skills to request their favourite nursery rhyme. Well done everyone!
Y2 Conisbrough Castle Trip!

Year 2 had a fabulous day out when they went to visit Conisbrough Castle! They dressed up as characters from the castle, and climbed up to the top of the keep, where they could see for miles. The children had such a brilliant time, and were so respectful. Well done Y2! #WeListenToOthers
Making Circuits in Y2!

This week in Science, Year 2 have been busy making simple circuits! They have been learning so much, and now know that a circuit is a path where electricity flows. Well done! #WeAreAlwaysLearning
FS1 Colour Work!

This week, FS1 have been trying really hard to recognise colours! They used pegs to pick up the pom poms, then put them into the correct colour bowl, and they did such a great job. They are all absolute superstars, well done!
Y5 History!

This week in History, the children have been sorting, ordering and placing significant events from the history of the Benin Kingdom in chronological order on a timeline. Place Value in Y2!

Since starting Year 2, Class 6 have been working extra hard in Maths with place value to 100. They have been amazing at making numbers using a variety of different mathematical resources, and have done so well. Fantastic work Y2! #WeWorkHard
