Class 2 Hello, my name is Miss Parkin and I can’t wait to be your new teacher! I have two gorgeous children. Together, we love singing and dancing to music, especially songs from Frozen and Encanto! We also love reading stories, playing board games and completing jigsaws. I love getting creative, so we are often doing exciting (and messy) things at home like baking and painting. We also enjoy finding new places to explore and going to the cinema. 

Although I have been a teacher for a long time, I have only spent a year at Monkwood but I love here and I know you will too. There are so many interesting places to explore in our school and we even have our very own woodland where we can go to look for Gruffalos and fairies! In our classroom you’ll find lots of fabulous resources that you can use to build, create and craft. I know you’ll love letting your imaginations run wild in our role-play area too! I’m so excited to share my favourite stories with you and I know we will have so much fun together next year!
