mrs Davison

I have taught at Monkwood Primary for eleven years and have worked in Foundation stage as well as upper and lower Key Stage two. I am also our school’s Maths coordinator and love Maths. I am a proud mummy to two sporty boys, Jasper aged 11 and Archie aged 8. We love to spend our weekends (and every other day of the week) playing and watching football. I have a degree in Sports Science and love most types of sport. I also enjoy Art and D.T, and am always getting creative at home and at school (just wait and see). I hope that you are all ready to have a brilliant school year. It is going to be great fun!

mrs Grafton

I have been part of the Monkwood family for twenty-eight years and have probably taught some of your parents too! I have taught various year groups throughout school and am excited about my move to Year 5. I am REALLY looking forward to being one of your teachers this year and getting to know you all. It’s going to be an amazing year! I can’t wait for all the fantastic learning which will take place, along with all the exciting experiences we have in store for you. When I’m not in school, I like to spend time with my family, especially my two children. My favourite thing is going on daytrips with them and having lots of fun and amazing adventures.

Mrs Dyson

Hello everyone and welcome to Class 13! My name is Mrs Dyson.
I’m really looking forward to being your TA in year 5 and can’t wait to get to know you all and start our journey together. I would have to say my favourite subjects are History, I love learning about the past and interesting facts that come with it. I love RE and learning about all the difference cultures and places around the world. I love reading and getting my head lost in to a good book. Outside of school, I am a mum to my 8 year old son Zack. We enjoy going to the cinema, bowling, being creative as we love arts and crafts in our house!

My main priority being your TA is to make sure your mental health is at it’s best. I want to make sure that coming to school is enjoyable and that you feel safe and supported. I am always here to listen, guide and be your “go to” on good and bad days. I can’t wait to start the next chapter with you and I promise there will be lots of laughs, hard work and great memories to be had!
