Meet your teacher
mrs Davison
I have taught at Monkwood Primary for ten years and have worked in Foundation stage as well as upper and lower Key Stage two. I am also our school’s Maths coordinator and love Maths. I am a proud mummy to two cheeky little boys. We love to spend our weekends playing and watching football. I have a degree in Sports Science and love most types of sport. I also enjoy Art and D.T, and am always getting creative at home and at school (just wait and see). I hope that you are all ready to have a brilliant school year. It is going to be great fun!
mrs Tunnard
Hi everyone! This is my first year teaching at Monkwood after moving over from a different school. I have three children aged 16,4 and 2. We also have a dog who is 6. I love to read and enjoy spending time at the weekend going out for walks, looking for new adventures and spending time together as a family. I love going to see live music and enjoy singing and dancing the days away. I am so excited to spend my first year here at Monkwood with you. I hope you all have a lovely summer and cannot wait to see you all to start our journey together

Meet your teacher
mr pedley
We’re all excited to meet you all and we can’t wait to start our learning journey together and what we hope will be an incredible journey. We are looking forward to a year full of learning, fun and adventure. We will become a supportive class family, working hard to produce work we are proud of.
As for me, I have been teaching for fifteen years and I thoroughly enjoy my job because of the wonderful pupils and staff we have at Monkwood. I enjoy teaching a whole range of subjects at Monkwood especially maths, reading, science and PE. My family and friends are an important part of my life and I enjoy spending time with my two children especially. I am a huge Sheffield United fan; I enjoy watching them home and away with my family and friends and I have enjoyed doing this for over thirty years. Fitness, film, music and reading play a big part in my spare time to keep me busy when I am away from the classroom.
