Mrs Sharpe

Class 6
Meet your teachers
Mrs Sharpe
Hello, my name is Mrs Sharp and I cannot wait to meet you all!
I love to read, especially the Harry Potter books. I love story-time and I always make sure we have time to listen to a story during the day. I wonder what story we will read first!
I also love being outside, going on walks and exploring the countryside with my children. I have a dog called Luna and we love taking her for long walks.
My favourite subject is history. I absolutely love learning about the past with my class and loved learning about the Great Fire of London. I cannot wait to learn about something new in September!
Meet your teaching assistant
Mrs driver
Hello! My name is Mrs Driver and I will be the Teaching Assistant in Class 6.
I’m really looking forward to getting to know you and helping you with your learning journey this year! One of my favourite subjects is Art because I’m very creative and imaginative. I love drawing and painting. I can’t wait to see what amazing art you create too.
I’ll be supporting you with lots of things in class, especially phonics, which helps with reading and writing.
At home, I have three lovely daughters and a crazy dog called Meela, who absolutely loves going on long walks. As a family, we enjoy going for adventures in the countryside and visiting the seaside together.
I’m so excited to be part of your learning this year and I’ll always be here to help you learn, grow and have fun at school!

I also love to go on holiday with my family and read books. I like to walk my dogs in Rosehill Park so you may have seem me with them. I love music and love to sing. You might sometimes see me in the hall playing the piano or singing. It won’t be long until you join class 7 and are in Year 2. See you all soon!
Meet your teaching assistant
Miss Blake
Hello, my name is Miss Blake and I am a teaching assistant in Year 2. I am looking forward to meeting you all. I have two football-loving boys of my own, which helps me connect with children who share similar interests. You will find me at football match most weekends. In my spare time I love to read a good book. Outside of school, I enjoy exploring new places, walking in nature, and baking.
Class Information
The school day starts at 8.45am and ends at 3.15pm. We read every week and practise spellings so please make sure that your child has their reading book in school every day. We give out a homework folder on a Friday so that you have the weekend to complete it and it does not need to be handed in until the following Friday.
We introduce TTRockstars in the Autumn term and this will be your maths homework to complete online every week.Your children will need a water bottle in class every day, whatever the weather.
We will communicate with you through Class Dojo and let you know PE days at a later date.
