Beebots with Y2

Year 2 have been working with the beebots in computing. They have given the electronic bees instructions using directional and positional language. Great team work Class 7!

Hobgoblin Theatre Company perform for Class 4 & 5

On Tuesday 23rd May we were so lucky to have the Hobgoblin Theatre Company come and perform for Class 4 & 5. The children absolutely loved their performance of  the traditional tale Jack and the Beanstalk. 😁🌱

Class 2 Fantastic Flowers

In Class 2 this week we have been looking at the famous artist Georgia O’Keeffe and her beautiful large scale painting of flowers. We used water colours to create our own artwork and then added detail with a black pen. 🌻🌼🌷

Y3/4 Quad Kids Competition

A group of Y3/4 children were proud to represent the school at an athletics competition. The children took part in a range of running, jumping and throwing events and gave their best all day. You represented the school exceptionally well and we’re proud of you all.

3D Shapes with Y5

In Maths, the children have been learning all about 3D shapes. During the lesson, the children have been constructing a range of 3D shapes and identifying their features.  Working together, they also used other elements of their maths knowledge (including measuring) to construct their shapes.

Y6 Geography

In Geography, Year 6 have used clay to make models that show the different features of coastal erosion: notch, crack, cave, arch, stack and stump. 🌊 Next week, we will put them on paper to annotate them with information.
