Year 6 have worked in the woods with Pop’s Outdoor Adventure last week to create some amazing totem poles using clay and branches.
As part of our local history learning on the 1984 Miners’ Strike, Year 6 had a visit from a former miner. We asked him lots of questions to find out how important the mining community was in the local area.
In geography, we have been learning about the different biomes in North America. Each group researched the weather, plants and animals of their biome and then presented their findings to the class. We loved seeing all their presentations and hearing about what they had discovered! 🌎
