In geography, Year 6 have explored the similarities and differences between the earthquakes and damage caused in San Francisco in 1989 and Haiti in 2010. We identified that Haiti had more damage due to there being more poverty there so the buildings are not built as well. We also looked at how places in earthquake zones plan and prepare for such disasters.
