We have been super busy organising our new 2024–2025 school council.
We applied for the role of school councillor and waited to be shortlisted. We then had a real election (with polling booths to keep our choices secret) where we voted and posted the ballot papers in a special ballot box. These were then counted and the new school council was announced.
Part of our job this year will be to organise special events in school and make sure that the voice of the children at Monkwood is heard. We will contribute to meetings and share our views and the views of our fellow classmates. We are excited and ready to get started!
