On Thursday 8th May, children across Monkwood Primary took part in a variety of activities to celebrate the 80 year anniversary of VE Day. Everyone came to school in some lovely red, white, and blue outfits for the occasion, and learnt all about why we celebrate VE Day. Some classes also got creative, making their own flags, and colouring in the Union Jack.
What a fantastic day, well done everyone!
