On Thursday 22nd May, Monkwood Primary took part in the Children’s Capital of Culture and Rotherham School Games Baton Relay. The children at Monkwood joined other schools in the area to run the next leg of the race. Children from Forest View School were welcomed, as they passed on the baton. Representatives of Monkwood Primary were cheered at the start of their leg, as they ran up to hand over the baton to Rawmarsh Community School.
