Music in Y5

In Music this term, Class 12 have started learning to play the ukulele, and it’s safe to say they’re off to a fantastic start. For many, this is their first time picking up the instrument, but they’ve shown real enthusiasm and determination.

So far, the children have been learning how to hold the ukulele correctly, strum in time, and begin to play some simple chords. It’s wonderful to see how quickly their confidence is growing, as music lessons like these not only develop new skills but also encourage teamwork and creativity.

We can’t wait to see how their playing develops over the coming weeks!
