Earlier This week, Y2 were very lucky to take part in a fantastic Pantomime Workshop, delivered by Children’s Capital of Culture. The session brought the magic and excitement of pantomime right into the classroom, giving the children a chance to experience theatre in a fun, interactive way.
The children were captivated from start to finish, joining in with the songs and actions throughout. They also had the opportunity to step into some of the roles themselves, showing off their acting skills and confidence on stage.
Not only was the workshop great fun, but it also encouraged creativity and teamwork, as well as helping to build communication skills. Experiences like these are a brilliant way to inspire a love of the performing arts and give children the chance to learn in new and exciting ways.
Well done, Y2!
