Writing Formal Letters in Y5

This week, Class 12 have been working on writing formal letters and have produced some fantastic examples to be very proud of. In their letters, the students wrote to complain about a fictional disastrous day out, carefully using the correct structure, tone, and formal language to make their points clear.

They focused on organising their ideas logically, using persuasive language, and including all the key features of a formal letter. It was wonderful to see the students applying their writing skills creatively, while also developing their confidence in expressing themselves effectively in a formal style.
