Amazon Rainforest in Y5

In Geography, Class 12 have been learning all about the Amazon Rainforest. They explored satellite images to see how the rainforest has been shrinking over time, which led to some thoughtful and meaningful discussions.

The children discovered why the Amazon is so important to our planet, what threats it faces, what could happen if it were destroyed, and how it can be protected for the future. It has been fantastic to see such curiosity and engagement around this important global issue. Well done!
