This week, our young scientists in Year 2 took their learning beyond the classroom with an exciting trip to the woods!
They explored different micro-habitats and discovered how a single fallen log or a patch of damp moss can provide a whole ecosystem for local wildlife. The children practised their observation skills, looked closely at their surroundings, and developed a deeper understanding of biodiversity right here on our school grounds. Well done, Y2!
