This week in History, Class 12 explored the question: How have people protested against war throughout history?
The children investigated a range of anti-war movements, including the Religious Society of Friends, conscientious objectors during World War I, the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, and protests against the Vietnam War and the Iraq War.
Using historical sources, they analysed how methods of protest have changed over time and identified similarities between different movements. We were impressed by their thoughtful discussions and their ability to compare events from across history. Well done, Class 12!
