Today, Y1 began exploring their new English text, ‘The Bog Baby’, with a very mysterious discovery! The pupils received a letter from a woodland explorer who had heard that Class 5 were fantastic at problem-solving and teamwork. He needed their help to investigate some strange and unusual things he had discovered in our woodland area.
Working together, the children used their teamwork and detective skills to follow the clues and investigate what could be hiding in the woodland. But what they discovered was something nobody was expecting… a Bog Baby!
The children were fascinated by their unusual discovery and couldn’t wait to find out more about this mysterious woodland creature. What a fantastic start to their new text. Well done, Year 1!
