During their first Art unit, Y1 have been focusing on the artist Claude Monet. Pupils have been learning about primary and secondary colours, following the correct painting routines and exploring how to mix thick paints. They also created their own colour wheels before putting their new skills into practice to produce some beautiful Monet-inspired masterpieces.
