In Science this week, Class 7 have been learning all about electrical circuits and how to make a bulb light up. They experimented with different components, discovering how electricity travels along the wires and why it’s so important for the circuit to be complete.
The children tested what happens when the circuit is broken and saw for themselves how this causes a power cut. They were fascinated to see the difference that even the smallest change can make, and they worked really carefully to build and test their own circuits. A fantastic start to their new topic!
