In Science, Class 12 have been exploring the wonders of our Solar System by researching how long it takes each of the planets to orbit the Sun. The children were amazed to discover just how different the lengths of each orbit are – from Mercury, racing around the Sun in just 88 days, to Neptune, which takes a staggering 165 years to complete a single journey!
They have been comparing these times, spotting patterns, and discussing why planets further away from the Sun take so much longer to orbit.
Great work, Class 12!
