Recently, Y6 have been learning about inspirational people who have made a difference in the world. This week, they focused on Malala Yousafzai and explored her incredible story, learning about the challenges she faced and the courage she showed in standing up for girls’ education.
The children discussed why Malala is seen as such an important role model and reflected on the qualities that make someone inspirational, such as bravery, determination and resilience. This has prompted some thoughtful conversations and reflections, helping pupils to understand how one person’s actions can have a powerful impact on others.
