The children created timelines comparing protests for racial equality in the USA and South Africa, making thoughtful links between influential figures such as Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr., and Nelson Mandela.
They showed a fantastic understanding of how courageous individuals and peaceful protests can help bring about important change in society over time. Well done, Year 5!
