Studying Dialogue in Y4

This week, Class 11 have been exploring how dialogue is used in writing to show conversations between characters. They looked carefully at the punctuation needed to write dialogue correctly before working in groups to bring different conversations to life. Everyone had the opportunity to play different characters, using expression and changing their voices to suit each role.

It was great fun acting out the dialogue, and the activity helped pupils understand how conversations can be brought to life in writing in a much more exciting and memorable way than simply reading them. Well done, Class 11!
