During Parliament Week last term, we held an election to vote for new playground leaders. We wrote manifestos, had a shortlisting meeting, campaigned, and had a real polling station where we could secretly cast our votes.
Once everyone had voted, the school councillors counted the votes and announced the winners in assembly. We all took part in democracy to bring about change.
