Y5 African Art

In art, we have been studying the work of the African artist Jimoh Buraimoh, who is famous for his use of bold colours and shapes to create abstract images of people. We practised a range of oil pastel techniques before deciding which technique we wanted to use and also the range of bold and vibrant colours we would choose. Finally, we used a range of oil pastel techniques to add bold shapes and bright and vibrant colours to create our finished piece of work.
