Hiya gang!!
For this week’s book recommendation, I’ve decided to go with ‘Holes’ by Louis Sachar.
“A boy is wrongfully sent to a brutal camp, where the camp warden and her staff force the children in their care to mysteriously dig holes all day long in the desert. Their rehabilitation is questioned, as they think something sinister is involved.”
This was such an amazing read when I was in Year 4. I got so giddy when I realised that they had turned it into a film. I still have a copy of the book and the dvd to this day.
