“Hi. My name is Ashley Atkinson and I went to Monkwood Primary School.
I’m a qualified actuary and work for an insurance company. My role involves estimating future claims costs, using mathematical and statistical models, to ensure we hold enough money as a company to pay all our claims.
Of course! My favourite subject was Maths, and I use this in my job daily. I have fond memories of working through the Ginn Maths books at Monkwood!”
