Last week at Monkwood we received a very special letter from the King and Queen.
Back in April, the children in Year 1 at Monkwood Primary School wrote to The King to congratulate him on his coronation and to tell him how we were celebrating in school. Every child wrote a letter as one of their English tasks and a copy of each child’s letter with a selection of the art work they produced was sent to The King.
We have received a lovely letter and card back thanking the children. The children were so very excited when we opened the letter and found out who it was from!
Well done Year 1, we are so proud of your hard work.
