African Artist Focus

Class 2 have been looking at the famous artist Alma Thomas an African American female artist.

She was an important role model for women, African Americans and older artists.

She focussed on large circular images with a high focus on colour and using colour to express emotions.

Class 9 loved their session with Pop’s outdoor adventure Rawmarsh. They were split into groups and had to build shelters from the Stone Age, Bronze
