The Runaway Pea Activities!

Our activities this week have been based around the story of The Runaway Pea. In Maths, we have been recognising numbers past five and counting out the right amount of peas to match the numeral. We did so well with this activity!

In our creative area, we have been exploring paint. We used our paint brushes to mix two colours together to make our green peas.

In literacy, we have been using some of our letter knowledge in our writing to label our favourite fruits and vegetables. Lilou labelled her picture with an o for orange and a b for broccoli!

Outside in our woodland area we have been planting new seeds and caring for our plants. We’ve had a beautiful bay tree donated, so we all helped dig a big, deep hole for it and we planted it together.

Well done everyone!
