Finding Owls in FS2!

This week in Class 2, we are learning about owls! After learning some facts about owls and their babies, we went exploring in our woods to see if we could spot any owls or cavity nests.

To our surprise, we saw a mummy owl nesting in a tree! She was also guarding a lovely book; Owl Babies by Martin Waddell. Luckily, we were able to sneak it out of the tree and back into our classroom without the mummy owl noticing!

After reading our new story, we got busy with our exciting Literacy activities. Well done everyone!
