Class 12 English

Over the next few weeks, Class 12 will be writing their very own quest narratives, inspired by Philip Pullman’s The Firework-Maker’s Daughter. Their stories will be titled The Lantern-Maker’s Daughter.

Yesterday, the class focused on gathering rich, descriptive language to bring their opening scene – The Lantern Workshop – vividly to life. We can’t wait to see how their creative ideas develop as the stories unfold.
