Last Friday, children across Monkwood celebrated Children in Need with a full day of themed activities. Each class got involved in their own exciting way – Class 1 enjoyed making spotty biscuits, while Classes 6 and 7 explored coins in Maths, discussing which were the least and most valuable before using their knowledge to count all of the silver coins they had collected for the charity. Class 2 painted their very own Pudsey bears and worked hard to raise awareness and funds for this fantastic cause.
Everyone who took part should feel extremely proud of themselves.
