Last week, FS2 had a fabulous time exploring a range of activities inspired by the story ‘Room on the Broom’ by Julia Donaldson. They made their own potions, practised fine motor skills, searched for tricky words hidden in cauldrons filled with jelly and rice, and retold the story in their own words.
The children also followed patterns to design their own monsters and used torches to uncover hidden images that matched CVC words. What an exciting week of learning!
