Recently, Y5 began their new PE topic on cheerleading. The children enjoyed learning chants and practising some basic arm movements before attempting a thigh stand. This involved the flyer balancing with one foot on each of the base’s thighs, requiring teamwork, balance, and stability from everyone involved.
