Roman Day in Y3

Year 3 had a fantastic Roman Day, working with a visitor from Want2B Workshops to learn all about life in Roman times. Throughout the day, the children discovered how Roman soldiers dressed and marched into battle, as well as learning about key Roman achievements such as aqueducts and beautiful mosaic tiles. They also took part in hands-on activities, including pretending to be Roman soldiers, playing knucklebones, creating mosaics, and building their own aqueducts.

The children were brilliant throughout and fully embraced every activity, making it a fun and memorable way to bring history. Well done!
