In History, Class 12 have been learning about how protests improved race equality in the USA. They explored a range of sources to understand what life was like during segregation before learning about key protests led by Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr.

The children then discovered how the Civil Rights Act of 1964 made segregation illegal, marking an important step towards equality.
