This week, Y2 designed and made their own percussion instruments in Science. The children learned that sound is created by vibrations, so they explored different ways of making sounds using recycled materials. Some created instruments using elastic bands stretched over boxes, while others made instruments that could be shaken to produce sound.
Through their investigations, the children discovered that sounds can be made in many different ways using materials such as plastic, wood, and cardboard. Well done, Year 2!
