In Geography, Y5 have been exploring the importance of the Ganges River in India. The children learned how the river supports local communities, farmers, wildlife, and religious groups, helping them understand why it is such an important natural resource. They were especially interested to discover more about the endangered Ganges river dolphin and the river’s special significance within Hinduism.
It has been fantastic to see the children developing their understanding of how rivers can shape both the environment and people’s lives. Well done, everyone!
