Moon Cycles in Y5

In Science, Class 12 used Oreo biscuits to create a model showing the different phases of the Moon. By carefully shaping the cream filling, the children represented how the Moon’s appearance changes as it orbits Earth. They then arranged and labelled the phases in the correct order, helping them understand how we see different amounts of the Moon’s sunlit half throughout the lunar cycle.

It was a fun and creative way to bring their learning to life!
