Kingdom of Benin in Y5

This week in History, Class 12 have continued their exploration of the Kingdom of Benin. Building on their previous lesson, the children examined some of the key events.

They worked hard to finish their detailed timelines, plotting major events from Benin alongside what was happening in Britain at the same time. This activity really helped them to make meaningful historical comparisons and to understand how different parts of the world were developing simultaneously.

The class showed great curiosity and teamwork throughout the lesson, and it was fantastic to see them asking thoughtful questions and making connections between the past and present. Well done!
