In History, Y5 have been learning about how the Industrial Revolution changed society. They explored maps and census data to find out how the population grew and why so many people moved from the countryside into expanding towns and cities to work in factories.
The children also compared images of the same place from the start and end of the Industrial Revolution, carefully identifying and discussing how these areas changed over time. They showed great curiosity and strong historical thinking, making thoughtful links between the evidence and what life was like in the past. Well done!
