Art Projects in Y1

Recently, Y1 have been working on some exciting Art projects. Last term, they explored working with clay to create their own clay tiles. These were then fired in a kiln at one of our secondary Trust schools before being glazed, giving the children a real experience of the full artistic process.

More recently, they have been learning about Pop Art and the work of Romero Britto. Inspired by his bold and colourful style, the children created their own artwork expressing themes of love and happiness. Amazing work, well done!
