Last week, we had the privilege of joining a virtual author visit by the wonderful Jacqueline Wilson, the author of many children’s books, including Tracy Beaker, which has also been adapted into a popular TV programme.
We listened to her talk about getting into writing at a young age, and being supported by her teachers. She has now written around 120 books! Jacqueline told us that she actually writes most of her stories sitting in bed, surrounded by her cats and dogs, who she has included in some of her books.
What a fantastic talk, and well done to Class 16 for listening so brilliantly!
