Recently, Year 5 enjoyed a wonderful visit to Kelham Island in Sheffield to support their learning about the Industrial Revolution.
The children took part in an engaging workshop where they explored how the land in Sheffield has changed over time, particularly with the development of railways and water mills. After this, they had the opportunity to explore the museum, which showcases 300 years of industrial history, including impressive exhibits such as the powerful River Don Engine and a Bessemer Converter.
It was a fantastic trip that really helped bring their history learning to life!
